The turn out at the last Presentation night was very poor.

Therefore the Management Committee are considering the possibility of holding a function away from the club, possibly a Dinner Dance where wives girlfriends or partners can also attend and make a proper night of it.

We are inviting your comments as to what you the members would like to do for the next Presentation Night.

Swindon Cricket Club was re-formed in 1970. Our ground was built in 1979 and we started playing on it in 1981. We have a single storey brick built pavilion which overlooks the pitch. The pavilion contains all the modern amenities necessary for a cricket club. The club is affiliated to Worcestershire Cricket Board and Staffordshire Cricket Board. On Saturdays we play in Division 1, 1a and 3 respectively of the Staffordshire Club Cricket Championship. Website: www.staffsclubcricket.org.uk. We field 2 teams in the Fearnley Factory Shops Worcestershire Sunday Cricket League. Website: www.worcestersundaycricket.com. The club has a very active youth policy with many qualified coaches and a child protection policy. We are now an ECB Clubmark Accredited club. The club has teams at U11 (Pairs), U13 (Pairs), U13 x 11 a-side, U14, U15 and U16 level.
